My purpose in being a Graphic Designer

Hello, My name Is Ethan Rivers. I am born and raised in Martin TN. I live with my mom, brother, and dog that are my world. I’m currently a student at UT Martin that majors in graphic & design. This December, I’m graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at the age of 26. After college, I plan to start small. I want to work for a small company either in martin or union city to get more experience in my degree field.

My purpose in being a graphic designer are cartoons. I want to put my skills to use and design cartoon characters digitally. After college, My plan is to apply for jobs that deal with advertisement. Designing posters with funny characters is something that I’m interested in to start off my career. Also, finding the different fonts to match the theme is unique. I really think designing posters helps determine the type of audience a designer focuses towards. My designs draws focuses more on children and young adults.

Inconclusion, I’m the type of guy that takes his work very seriously. When I have my mind set on something, I love to get things done. When it comes to time management, I like to get things done ahead of time. At the same time, I love to keep my on pace on and not feel rushed. My Hobbies are adventure, eating, games, TV, basketball, cooking, drawing, reading Japanese manga, and American comics. I’m a respectful person that’s filled with love and warmth. I’m A big animal lover. Most importantly, I put GOD and family first no matter what.
